We just finished sending out the last of our shipped Indiegogo items today. We are extremely grateful for your patience: it has been challenging for us to build up our chocolate inventory during our first officially "open" months, as these months coincided with Christmas/winter holidays, Valentine's Day, not to mention our promised Indiegogo perks fulfillment. It's been a marathon, but we're through the most difficult part, and we're now looking forward to stocking our shelves with big blocks of chocolate and filling our tasting room with hungry chocoholics.
If you selected "In-Store pickup" for your Indiegogo perk(s), please check our shop hours on google or our website. If the hours are not convenient, feel free to send a message or call - we are happy to arrange a pickup time that is convenient for you. We can't wait to show off our chocolate workshop and tasting room to you!
Now.... Easter is coming up next, and in addition to our 2 oz. bars, we're getting ready to make cute choco-bunnies. Stay tuned for more chocolate goodness in the pipeline.

Wow, my head is still spinning from all the wrapping and bean-roasting and chocolate-making and lovely chatting with customers in the lead-up to Valentine's Day.
Now that the biggest holiday time for chocolate is behind us, our number one priority is to get the rest of our chocolate perks sent out.
If you are in the area we hope that you will come in and say hi, see the space and taste some chocolate right out of the machine!

Here is the back of our 'Love and Roses' bar which is made with Honduras 75% and has a variety of chili peppers, rose petals, and palm sugar swirled into the chocolate.

Dearest Chocolate Supporters,
Happy New Year! We have sent email newsletters out but please forgive me for not posting an Indiegogo update in a while. Our new machine is stunningly wonderful... I just love working with it! We're building up our inventory, and all of our December orders are due to ship out by the end of January. If you did not receive my email updates regarding this delay, please forgive me - and do check your spam filters also, in case my messages got blocked. I am immensely thankful for your support, and for your patience.
If you ordered rewards with 'February Delivery' or later, all of these are on schedule. Please stay tuned for an email from us letting you know when your items are ready to ship/pick up.
On the left is our tiny grinder (on top of the fridge next to the red bucket... see the hair dryer "warming attachment" clipped to the bowl). On the right is our new chocolate grinder, aka "CiCi Nibs", thanks to your generous support!
If you're in the seacoast area, please do stop in and say hello! Our shop hours are posted on our Facebook page, but we're here for far greater hours, and as long as we're making chocolate the doors are open.
Valentines Day is almost upon us, so we're working up a storm of chocolate to get ready for this holiday as well as prepare the rest of our Indiegogo reward bars.

Dear All,
Warmest of Winter Solstice wishes to you and yours! We hope you are having a lovely holiday season so far! Tis the season for winter giving, so we want to give you an update on our bar production as well as our other Indiegogo perks...
First of all, the new chocolate grinder is dreamy! It is a HUGE (quite literally) upgrade from our tiny countertop grinder. We've made 3 batches in it so far, and all have been really easy to manage from start to finish. This new machine was engineered to have a great counterbalance so it's not difficult for me to empty by myself, and it has other bells and whistles that make it an incredible improvement to our previous tiny machine.
Indiegogo Orders: We are down to the wire, but working hard to get as many of our December-delivery orders ready before Christmas. Please read on for details about what you ordered:
BARS with December delivery: We got a late start on making batches with the new machine, and we also ran into an issue with our packaging (our lovely brown envelope has been discontinued by the manufacturer), so we are behind schedule on these. That said, we will do our best to get bars to you if you desperately need them for Christmas. If you chose bars with a December delivery date, and MUST have them for Christmas, please email us asap and we'll ship them out today. Otherwise, we're hoping for your patience as we plan to send remaining December orders in the first week of January. If you chose in-store pickup for your December-delivery bars, you may come in SATURDAY, or SUNDAY, Dec 23 & 24, to pick them up. Please check our facebook page with updated hours pending this weekend's winter storm.
BARS with later delivery dates: If you chose bars with later promised delivery dates, they are not ready, but they will be ready for you in late January, ahead of our promised delivery dates.
MUGS are ready! If you chose in-store pickup, you may come in SATURDAY, or SUNDAY, Dec 23 & 24, to pick them up. If you chose shipping, we are going to do our best to ship these today, and as with bars, if you desperately need for Christmas please do email us to make sure you're at the top of our shipping list. For in-store mug pickups, check our weekend hours and head over to pick them up.
Clothing: This had a delivery date of February and June 2018 on Indiegogo, but it is actually being delivered to our house this weekend! If you are able to pick up in-store on Saturday or Sunday, Dec 23 & 24, please send us an email and we'll let you know if it's arrived. Otherwise, we'll let you know when the items are ready to ship / pick-up in January.
Holiday Shopping: We are extremely low on bars, but we are open this weekend, so if you're in the area and looking for last minute gifts, please stop by and visit! We have yummy peppermint bark, mugs, and a limited supply of drinking chocolate and cacao nib infusion kits ready for the weekend. Here are our hours for the weekend:
- Friday Dec 22 - 9 am to 4 pm (but probably closing early due to storm)
- Saturday Dec 23 - 10 am to 4 pm (pending winter weather)
- Sunday December 24 - 10 am to 2 pm
All of the hours above are subject to this weekend's storm, so please check our facebook page before heading over to see us.

Dearest Chocolate Lovers,
Thanks to each and every one of you, our chocolate grinder arrived yesterday! I was so excited to see the freight driver that I gave him a huge hug. Of course he got to try a spoonful of chocolate from our melting pot too.
We're going to be firing this machine up today and fingers crossed the first batch will be perfect! We hope that you will stop by the shop and say hi and meet this awesome beast that you helped us purchase. If you are in our area, we hope that you'll join our Indiegogo Thank You Party this coming Wednesday December 13, 7-9 pm. If you haven't received an invitation for this, please let me know and I'll forward the invite to you. If you cannot make this thank you party, you're also welcome to drop by to our Grand Opening day, December 16th, 12-6 pm.
Some of you have asked for a rewards update. Please read on for more details. Please note, for all rewards: we will email you when your reward(s) are ready for pickup or shipping.
Chocolate For those of you who've ordered chocolate bars, they will be ready the week of December 18, down to the wire but we're doing our best to get all your chocolate ready before Christmas. If you ordered chocolate we will email you when your bars are ready to pick up. We will also email tracking info to you if we are shipping your chocolate to you.
Apparel We've ordered all our apparel (hoodies, hats, Ts) in time to beat the apparel company's holiday ordering deadline, however their shipment to us will arrive very close to Christmas. We will update you when we receive tracking info and a firm delivery date from them.
Mugs Are here! Regret not ordering one? We bought extras and they are $20 each.
Drinking Chocolate will be ready the week of Dec. 18th - we'll send an email when your order is ready to pick up or ship.
Postcards will ship out with all other orders, so depending on when we deliver your bars, etc, you'll receive your postcards at the same time.
Love and chocolate tastes are always flowing - just come by the shop so we can thank you in person and give you a spoonful of fresh liquid chocolate right out of the grinder.
Oh, and about visiting our shop. We haven't set official "hours" yet but we will do so soon. In the meantime, as long as we're here working, you're welcome to pop in and say hi. We're affectionally referring to our space as an "open doors tiny factory". Please follow our Facebook page for updates about hours and current chocolate batches, or else shoot us an email or message if you want to make sure we're here when you visit. We are just up the street from Railpenny Tavern in Epping, which we highly recommend for lunch or dinner to piggyback onto your visit to our shop.
Thank you SO much for your support and enthusiasm. We're happy that the most popular Indiegogo perks were our chocolate bars - this really helped reinforce to us that our biggest selling item would be chocolate.
